First, polypropylene engineering fiber

Polypropylene engineering fiber is made of polypropylene particles as raw materials. After adding polypropylene engineering fiber to concrete, fiber can quickly and evenly disperse concrete in the formation of disorderly support system, disperse the concrete directional stress, prevent the occurrence and development of concrete cracks, eliminate or reduce the number and scale of the original micro cracks, better improve the concrete crack resistance and permeability, improve the toughness of concrete, so as to extend the service life of concrete. In addition, because of the high strength of the fiber itself, the fiber is evenly dispersed in the concrete and forms the anchoring effect, which can absorb a certain amount of damage energy in an instant, reduce the brittleness of concrete and improve the toughness of concrete.


Polypropylene engineering fiber performance characteristics:

(1) Light quality

The density of polypropylene fiber is 0.90-0.92 g/cm3, which is the lighter among all chemical fibers. It is suitable for making the wadding filler of winter clothing or the fabric of ski suit and mountaineering suit.


(2) High strength, good elasticity, wear resistance, corrosion resistance

High strength (dry state, wet state is the same), is the ideal material for the manufacture of fishing nets, cables; It has good wear resistance and resilience, similar in strength to polyester and polyamide, comparable in resilience to polyamide and wool, much larger than polyester and viscose fibers; Chemical resistance is better than other fibers.


(3) With electrical insulation and heat preservation

The thermal conductivity is small, compared with other chemical fibers, the electrical insulation and heat preservation of polypropylene fiber is better, but it is easy to produce static electricity during processing.


(4) Poor heat and aging resistance

Polypropylene fiber has a low melting point (165~173°C), poor stability to light and heat, so polypropylene fiber has poor heat resistance, aging resistance and ironing resistance. However, the anti - aging property can be improved by adding anti - aging agent during spinning.
